Macron says his decision to call snap elections caused more instability for France


French President Emmanuel Macron gave a traditional New Year’s Eve televised address on Tuesday in which he said that “the dissolution brought more divisions into the National Assembly than solutions for the French people,” a rare acknowledgement that his decision to call a snap elections in June and July led to the current political deadlock in France.
